글로벌 리더가 되기 위해 삼성장학회는 지난 4월 20일 5기 장학생을 대상으로 테마 특강을 실시하였다. 장학생들의 Academic Life 를 고려하여 실시한 이번 테마특강에서 연세대 김용학 교수께서는 '시대의 변화 읽기', '무엇이, 그리고 왜 Academic Life 인가?' 와 '글로벌 리더가 되기 위한 생각연습' 순서로 강연을 진행하셨다. 강사께서는 시대의 변화학생들의 활동 무대 임을 강조하였고, 본인께서 학자의 길을 선택하게된 경험담과 핼렌 켈러(Helen Keller) 자서전의 다음 문구 등을 인용 하면서 Academic Life의 극적인 전환점의 예를 설명하였다.
