God gave his son for us

Do you remember our last lesson, about God's holiness?

We learned that God is Holy, that means He has no sin so that we can't go to Him because all of us are sinners.

We all should be punished. God does what is right, and sin must be punished.

But God does not want to punish us. God loves us even though we are very sinful.

You remember how He saved Noah, in the ark. That is a wonderful story. God was good to Noah. But the most wonderful story in all the world is the story of how God saves us.

Do you know what He did to save us? He sent His son, His very own son, to take the punishment for us. God punished our sins in Jesus when He died on the cross. And now we, if we believe in Him, do not have to be punished for sin at all!

Let's look back to the skit we'd seen right before. There were three things telling sin. What was the first one among them? Yes, it was alcohol. It's sinful to drink alcohol and get drunk. The Christian, it was Eunice, drank it. Then what came after it? The second one was a thief. He'd stolen something and let the christian steal, too. Was it sin? Yes, it was. You remember the last one? Yes, it was violence. She hit something or someone as well as she had the christian do violence. Was it sin? Yes, it was, too. Then, how can we call the christian? We can call him a sinner.

Because of sin, we can't reach God, the holy Lord,

Because of sin, we should be punished, and then, finally, we die.

The only way we can survive is that somebody take away our sin instead.

And, you know, who did it for us? Jesus

Although God doesn't like sin,

Although we keep making sins again and again,

although Jesus keep trying to save us and we refusing it,

God sent us His son

Jesus took the sin instead of us and died

Holy spirit still now lead us into Heaven.

Because of only one reason,

He loves us.

Do you believe this?

Let's confess to yourself, "God loves me."

and say to others, "God loves you."

God loves you.
