John 17

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." (33, NIV)

I have trouble, living in this world.
A lot of secular problems keep irritating me.
I feel no peace, but fear.

Can I get through this obstables?
Can I win the battle against the world and my sinful self?

Jesus says, "Take heart! I have overcome the world."
He who beats the world tells me to be brave.
He who is almighty is my defender and my Lord.

I confess again that I am weak, but you are strong.
With you, I can do everything.
May you eliminate my sinful nature and control over me.
